Is your battery life hurting due to the Intel version of Microsoft Teams running on your Mac?
There is a beta version of Microsoft Teams, but I found it difficult to find out how to find and install the M1 native version.
What I did find is the following:
Microsoft have a page here that shows versions of Microsoft Teams available on the public cloud.
There also seems to be a more released versions for beta here, but I am not sure if they are all M1 releases:
Warning, given this is beta software, run at your own risk.
The Microsoft Teams files themselves are avaiable at the following URL:
Pick the version you want and update the version in the URL above to download the installer and run it on your Mac.
Microsoft Teams with the M1 installer still seems to need to install the Intel version of the Core Audio Driver :(.
I don’t believe this installer tells you about updates from what I have seen so far as I installed an older version of the M1 Microsoft Teams first and it did not tell me about new versions that were available.
Second Warning, so just to remind you, this is beta software, so try at your own risk.
I had some problems with the Logitech MX Master 3S Mouse with an M1 MacBook Pro, but I had better luck with a Logitech G502 X Mouse
